Tribute to Star Veueza Kandjii -Tjombonde

It is with profound respect and the deepest sorrow that we, the HANO Youth Foundation family, remember and celebrate the life of our beloved sister, colleague, and friend, Star Veueza Kandjii Tjombonde.
Star’s journey with HANO was nothing short of remarkable. She began as the Coordinator of the Charity Department, where she poured her heart into uplifting the vulnerable and giving hope to the hopeless. Her compassion and determination spoke louder than words, and it was clear from the very beginning that she carried a rare gift — the gift of genuine love for humanity.
Because of her outstanding dedication, she was entrusted to serve as the Secretary to the HANO Board of Directors. In this role, Star embodied the values of integrity, humility, and selfless leadership. She was not just a servant of the Foundation; she was its heartbeat, always working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that HANO’s mission reached the people who needed it most.
One of her greatest contributions was leading and coordinating the partnership program between HANO Youth Foundation and the Christian Humanitarian Organisation in Germany, under the guidance of the Kmoche family. Through this initiative, Star helped build bridges of compassion that brought resources, opportunities, and comfort to countless individuals and communities. Her efforts left footprints that can never be erased.
Star was more than a volunteer; she was a warrior of kindness. She was fearless in standing for the truth, steadfast in her principles, and unwavering in her commitment to making the world a better place. Her life was a living testimony that service to others is the highest form of love. She gave without asking, served without recognition, and loved without boundaries.
Today, as we mourn her passing, we also celebrate her extraordinary life. The pain of her absence is heavy, but the legacy she leaves behind is far greater. Star taught us that one person’s light can shine bright enough to guide many. Her light will forever live in our hearts, in the work we continue to do, and in the lives of all who were blessed to know her.
Rest in eternal peace, dear Star. Though you are no longer with us in body, your spirit remains, inspiring us to serve, to love, and to live with the same selfless devotion that you so beautifully embodied.
With love and gratitude,
Nocky Kaapehi
