12 people missing in the last three months

IN the last three months, 12 people have been reportedly gone missing countrywide, police statistics show.

The majority of missing people range between the ages of six and 68 years.

Out of the 12 reported missing, 10 are male and two are female, while two of the missing people were found and the whereabouts of the rest are still unknown.

Police spokesperson, deputy commissioner Kauna Shikwambi has said that the issue of missing people is a complicated one, as some people quickly use social media to inform the public regarding a missing person, even if the person has only gone away for few hours or a number of days, when she or he did not inform any family member.
