‘Anxious’ Klazen will listen to the grassroots

… in conversation with the new Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources

NEWLY appointed Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources, Derek Klazen has said that expectations that he renders strong, honest and principled leadership would require him to listen to the voices at the grassroots, implement policy decisions and render interventions faster.
In an exclusive interview with Confidente, Klazen highlighted that he intends to build an image of a very responsive, transparent and honest ministry, geared towards effective and efficient service delivery, sustainably exploiting marine resources and other resources while preserving the health of the marine and river ecosystem for current and generations to come.
