A date with Burna Boy

IT’S like, I’m better at performing than making music and that says a lot because I’m really good at making music, Nigerian superstar Burna Boy recently told Billboard and this digested points out to nothing but a scintillating show this Sunday, where the multi-award winner will perform at the Hage Geingob Stadium..

“You see how with Christ, there’s B.C. and A.D.? I feel like that’s how it is for me with performing. There’s going to be a ‘Before Burna Came’ and ‘After Burna’s Death’ time period in the performing arts world. That’s my legacy,” he said.

Dubbed the biggest musical concert to be hosted in Namibia, fireworks are expected as the international superstar and multi-award winner comes to town.

With tickets sold out and a capacity crowd expected at the Hage Geingob stadium on Saturday and show organisers say tickets bought in the cancelled 2020 unless refunded are still valid.

The show is continuation of the Nigerian star’s Love, Damini tour which begun with a historic debut at Madison Square Garden.

The tour kicked off after the release of Love, Damini, a six studio album from Burna Boy, which came out on July 2.

The album features record such as “Last Last,” which samples Toni Braxton’s 2000 R&B hit “He Wasn’t Man Enough.”
