Last year the board of directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) granted a loan of US$ 121.
7 million to Namibia for the implementation of a major drinking water and sanitation programme.
The AfDB is accompanying the loan with a grant of more than US$3.3 million.
Additionally, the ministry’s Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Initiative Trust Fund Grant (RWSSITFG) will provide an amount on N million as a grant toward water and sanitation initiatives under WSSP.
