A case involving an alleged ploy to loot Namibian diamonds worth an estimated N$1 billion has reached the Office of the Prosecutor-General, Martha Imalwa who will imminently make a decision on whether to pursue the matter, Confidente has learnt.
Imalwa this week revealed that the docket was submitted to the Lüderitz office and she has requested that it be transferred to her office for evaluation.

“New statements in the case were received this week and we will have to look at it and see if the new statements provide enough evidence for us to go ahead and prosecute the matter,” Imalwa told Confidente this week.
