Armed cash robberies worry Oshana residents

… police urged to roll up sleeves



RESIDENTS of towns such as Oshakati, Ongwediva and Ondangwa in Oshana are worried by the soaring incidents of robberies in the region where large amounts of cash are often stolen from owners including businesses.

They say the escalating cases of robberies are making them feel unsafe and vulnerable and that the regional police leadership must roll up their sleeves and come up with an extreme strategy on how to fight robberies in the region.
