August 26 sues over food tender

DEFENCE ministry’s August 26 Holdings has dragged the company of former Windhoek mayor, the late Matheus Shikongo to court seeking relief reclaiming ownership of a company that owns its regional food hubs.

The late Shikongo who succumbed to Covid-19 on May 13, was the first black mayor of Windhoek in 1993, and was later re-elected for consecutive terms from 2000 to 2010.
