BBLNN invades the North

THE Black Business Leadership Network of Namibia (BBLNN) held a demonstration in the North on February 4 to push for solidarity amongst different business owners followed by a brainstorming session.

Speaking to Confidente this week, BBLNN chairperson Eliphas Simon said the aim of the northern demonstration was to bring all black business owners together and hand over a petition to the Development Bank of Namibia (DBN).

“Going to the North was for solidarity. We heard that the business people in the North are experiencing competitive disadvantages derived from the foreign owned enterprises. They felt it was uncalled for as they are sabotaging.

Businesses are unable to survive, the competition is stiff and there is no proper regulations on those type of businesses in the North,” he said.
