Belgium donates face masks

BELGIUM joined a number of other European Union (EU) member states in supporting Namibia’s fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism after it donated 125 600 FFP2/N95 face masks to protect frontline health workers and communities in Namibia.
The donation was received this week by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, Minister of Health and Social Services, Dr Kalumbi Shangula, Belgium Ambassador to Pretoria, Didier Vanderhasselt and Achim Schaffert, Chargé d’ Affairs of the EU Delegation to Namibia.
