WITH sight set on the Miss Namibia crown, new fitness and catwalk enthusiast, Tina Haimbala has set her eyes on the bigger price while harnessing her modelling career.

Despite being new in the modelling industry, Haimbala took the MTC fashion week by storm where she was part of the many models that left the crowd in awe.

“It was my first time being on the run-way of MTC Windhoek fashion week. I loved every bit of it. The fashion week helped me understand and clearly see the path that I am supposed to take in the modelling industry,” Haimbala said.

Apart from being a fitness lover, Haimbala is pursuing a degree in Marketing at the University of Science and Technology (Nust).
“This is my second year as a model. Although I consider myself an amateur, as I still have a lot to learn and achieve in this industry.

“I am not only about beauty and looks but I’m also intelligent as I am aiming at obtaining my degree in Marketing soon,” she further added.
Marketing Coordinator of the MTC Windhoek Fashion Week, Towa expressed gratitude towards the people who attended the event and labelled the episode as a success.

“People dressed up and came in numbers and the show was a success and everyday brought something new. I would say this year’s fashion week was really bigger and better compared to the previous years,” she said.

“Currently we are working on a Fashion meets Sound event which will be an initiative aimed at merging sound and fashion while highlighting the importance the two industries have,” she further added.
