Boxer ‘Prince’ suspended from boxing for now

FORMER World Boxing Organisation (WBO) African Bantamweight title holder Immanuel “The Prince”
Naidjala is currently serving a suspension imposed by the Namibia Professional Boxing and Wrestling Control Board
(NPBWCB).

The board did not disclose the length of the suspension. Naidjala, who is mostly known as Prince, a nickname that drives from former WBO world featherweight champion, Naseem ‘Prince’ Hamed of Britain, was making a comeback inside the ring in February this year, after six years away from boxing, failed to submit in a medical documentation in order to obtain a clearance certificate, ahead of his fight against Tanzanian boxer Nasibu Ramadhani in February this year in Tanzania, with resulted in Naidjala losing the fight.

NPBWCB administrator Janine Van Wyk confirmed the news to Confidente when asked to provide reasons why
Prince will not be allowed to fight.
