Brazilian delegation explores trade opportunities in Namibia

A 10-member Brazilian delegation was in Namibia to explore investment and trade opportunities.

The Brazilians met the trade minister, Lucia Iipumbu, in Windhoek to discuss efforts to strengthen the bond of cooperation and explore mutually beneficial opportunities between the two countries.

Trade spokesperson Elijah Mukubonda said the Brazilians’ visit is part of enhancing bilateral trade and trade-related and investment matters.

Mukubonda said the strategic visit is expected to yield tangible results for mutual benefit on trade relations and meaningful partnerships to drive economic prosperity as well as necessary decisions for implementation for both nations. Iipumbu told the Brazilians that Namibia has a stable political environment and a robust legal framework and is strategically located to offer a conducive environment for investment.
