An innovative study, funded by the EU and spearheaded by the German Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR) in collaboration with Namibian firm Odikwa Geoservices, has unveiled key insights into Namibia’s mining sector.

The report provides an in-depth analysis of Namibia’s geological setting and its Extended Critical Raw Materials (ECRM) endowment, highlighting investment opportunities for extraction and local value addition within these critical value chains. Moreover, it delves into the regulatory frameworks governing financing, including taxation, royalties, and the macroeconomic context of Namibia.
