Briefcase out in April

THE one hour short film titled ‘Briefcase’ which is about a white man, Carter who loses his briefcase in the dusty streets of Katutura will premiere in April.

In an interview with Confidente cast director and actor Fillemon Hafeni Stephanus better known as Mabuzza, who is also an actor in the movie, said although the shooting process was not a walk in the park, they are finally ready to show their masterpiece to the world.

The film is produced by Optimistic Media.

Questioned on what inspired the storyline, he said, the movie is not inspired by anything but that it is just a narrative they wanted to bring to light.

“We came up with this idea of shooting a movie that people can enjoy, there is no specific person or story that inspired it,” said Mabuzza adding that he was happy with the role he played in the film as he never thought he was going to pull off a role which requires him to the stubborn guy.

“In most of the films, I have always been the ‘tsotsi’ but in this one, I explored something different and I can’t wait for the world to see it,” he said.

Mabuzza had roles in ‘Shortcut’, ‘Love isn’t to play with’ and now in ‘Briefcase’.

Another actor to look forward to in the film is musician Leghetto.
