Businessman sues farmer for N$1,8m

…citing racial discrimination, defamation and business losses

A legal battle is brewing between an Outjo farmer accused of defamation of character, racial discrimination as well as allegedly stalling the operation of a business enterprise, may reach a costly end if a claim being pursued by businessman Petrus Mwanyekange Petrus, assisted by his legal representative Olsen Kahiriri is anything to go by.

Petrus revealed to Confidente that a letter of demand is ready to be served, in which the entrepreneur, through Kahiriri Consultancy is demanding about N$1 823 000 in losses allegedly accrued while his truck with registration number N9168OT was impounded at Matthew Hoffman’s farm near Outjo.
