Capricorn executives engage in community upliftment drive at Family of Hope Service

• BY VERONICA AMARAL

IN a heartwarming demonstration of community engagement and corporate social responsibility, executives and senior managers from Capricorn Group, a leading multinational corporation, recently volunteered at a local Early Childhood Development (ECD) centre on Friday in Havana, Katutura.

The programme sought to assist the centre’s purpose of providing exceptional care and education to the community’s young children while uplifting the Family of Hope.

The group, led by the new Capricorn Group Chief Executive Officer, David Nuyoma, began their afternoon of service, wasting no time in rolling up their sleeves and getting hands-on experience in the ECD centre.

Their responsibilities included tending to the vegetable garden, painting the playground equipment, erecting a new fence, updating a classroom wall, and even serving meals to the youngsters in the care of Family of Hope.
