• By Martha Nangombe

NAMIBIA Careers Expo is preparing to host the highly anticipated Careers Expo 2024, which will take place at the Windhoek Country Club on April 3 and 4.

This flagship event aims to empower youths by providing them valuable tools and opportunities to explore their professional paths and aspirations.

Spearheaded by the Banker’s Association of Namibia (BAN), this year’s Careers Expo is sponsored by Bank Windhoek and First National Bank. Other notable sponsors are the Environmental Investment Fund (EIF) and Fortescue Energy. These sponsors will highlight a variety of professional choices, including environmental stewardship and entrepreneurship, as well as future chances in green hydrogen (GH2) and life skills.

The integrated Speakers Hall, sponsored by the One Economy Foundation’s #BeFree project, will feature industry professionals who will give guests practical employment advice. The expo aims to accelerate Namibian youth’s professional growth by providing a dynamic forum for engagement with industry leaders, educational institutions, and future employers.
