With the festive season being all about putting out impressive content, music lovers are indeed in for a musical treat.

After teasing us with a little of the sci-fi scenes, a beautiful panorama pops up with Chikune standing on top of the ocean dancing, looking like an angel dressed in a white sexy dress – a scene which is absolutely stunning.

After watching the newly released video, Confidente had a quick chat with Kboz who said the song was well received by music lovers and had gained a lot of views immediately after its release date.

“The song is about getting away from reality of life and gives an experience of love, fantasy and creating your own happiness,” he said,

He added that the aim was to mix his language, Swahili and Chikune’s language Otjiherero to make a beautiful love song that many can relate to.

“It was such a difficult year. We just wanted to offer an escape from this reality and ease people’s minds because it was a year full of surprises,” he said.

Asked on his experience working with Chikune, Kboz said he learned a lot from her as an artist and the way her entire team operates.

“They work with so much zeal and they are committed from the beginning up to the end. So much positivity around her and her husband is the kindest person; they work so well under pressure and see everything through despite the hardships of working in this industry.”

Kboz said the collaboration started off from a simple beat he had sent to Chikune and she immediately decided to jump on the song. He produced the track and wrote the lyrics together with Chikune.

Keynote from Maszanga assisted with recording of the song.

“When I produced my Amapiano EP, Chikune called me and also wanted us to do something in the same direction, so I sent her the beat and she immediately fell in love with it. After the song, she wanted to do the music video.”
