Chinese-run company accused of sidelining locals

CHINA Jiangsu International, a company operating in Namibia has been accused of sidelining locals after posting four job vacancies in a local newspaper which require people who are fluent in English and Chinese to apply.

The advert has now raised eyebrows amongst Namibians who were unable to apply for these vacancies, questioning if this is discriminatory against locals since most of them are unable to communicate in the prescribed Chinese language.
