College defies Covid regulations, conducts face-to-face exams

WINDHOEK PMT Health Care Institution (PMT) is under fire after defying Covid-19 regulations by allowing students to write face-to-face exams.
The college says it got a declaration permit from the police as well as the health ministry to continue with their face-to-face exams.

Last week Wednesday, President Hage Geingob announced in his Covid-19 briefing that, face-to-face classes for higher education institutions, including vocational education training providers are suspended for the time being.

He also said that all examinations for tertiary students will be undertaken online.
