Condom scarcity in the North

PEOPLE wanting to engage in bedroom activities are accusing the health ministry of running out of free condoms and failing to supply health institutions in the North. And this according to sources, has detrimental effects on the welfare and health of people as they might be tempted to indulge in unprotected and unsafe sexual behaviour.

Three people, including healthcare workers, told this publication this week that the Ministry of Health is facing a crucial shortage of condoms in the northern regions.

“It’s a worrisome situation. There are no condoms here,” a health worker told Confidente this week. The woman is a nurse at the Oluno clinic in Oshana who chose to speak on condition of anonymity.
