Corruption allegations hit Amta bosses

CORRUPTION allegations have poured in against two Agro-Marketing and Trade Agency (Amta) bosses, senior finance manager Reagan Kooper and logistics officer Tangi Hamukwaya who are being accused of inflating a seals tender as well as failure to supply a fire hydrant that Amta had paid for, sources close to the matter exclusively told Confidente. 

Confidente understands the duo was allegedly called in for meetings and warning letters were handed to them while investigations were done regarding the matter, by the now suspended managing director, Lucas Lungameni.

For the fire hydrant tender it was in 2015 to 2016 which is the same period when Kooper was allegedly given a warning after investigations were made. Hamukwaya was then called in 2021 for more questioning after the investigations.
