Date Eleven making waves in First Division

DATE Eleven FC, a not-so-famous football club from Naute Dame farm in the //Kharas region, is impacting the country’s second-tier league, the Southern Stream First Division.

Date Eleven was promoted back to the Southern Stream First Division in the 2017/2018 season after being relegated to the //Kharas Second Division in the 2016/2017 season.

Founded in 2006, the team has spent most of its time playing in the //Kharas lower levels, first in the //Kharas Second Division, before being promoted to the First Division in 2008.

Perhaps their most impressive result so far was a 6-2 victory over the country’s most successful football team, Black Africa FC, on Saturday. This victory indicates that they will be a force to be reckoned with in the First Division.

They are presently in fourth place in the Southern Stream First Division log standings, with 17 points from 11 matches. They are eight points behind first-place team Namibian Correctional Services, who have 25 points.

Blue Boys have 22 points, and Eleven Arrows have 18.
