Diamantaire Enterprise Development Program a milestone

The Namibia Diamond Trading Company (NDTC) marked a significant milestone in the journey of the Namibian diamond industry by celebrating the inaugural graduation of the Diamantaire Enterprise Development Program (EDP).

Launched in 2022, the initiative aims to increase Namibian participation and ownership within the nation’s diamond sector.

The program, designed to provide support through rough diamond supply and business incubation, ultimately aims to grow and enable Namibian diamantaires to operate across the entire diamond value chain.

During the graduation ceremony, NDTC Board Chairperson Estelle Tjipuka encouraged the graduates to take ownership in the competitive and challenging industry. She congratulated the graduates of Dash Diamonds and Tate Diamonds, the two EDP beneficiaries, and acknowledged their journey through the Razcorp Business and Leadership Development program.
