Disgruntled Ohorongo workers peeved over N$26m donation to Govt

… as they claim unfair treatment

MORE than 100 Ohorongo workers are at loggerheads with their superiors over a donation of medical equipment worth N$26 million that the company gave to the Ministry of Health and Social Services in its bid to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.

The workers told Confidente this week that although the company donated so much money to the government some of their wages have not been paid yet. They also stated that the company promised the workers in a local newspaper in 2010 to build 200 houses for them and nothing has been done yet.
