Dispute emerges over Rukoro, Kerina burial

It has emerged that while different factions within the Ovaherero community are hell-bent on bestowing honour on each of the departed heroes with a burial in the cemetery reserved for paramount chiefs at Okahandja, the place is said to be not big enough for the two giants.
Confidente learned through reliable sources that some members of the Kerina clan, backed by well-placed sources within the government, has resolved to bury the late icon at the ‘Chief’s Graveyard’ without consultation of the entire Ovaherero Traditional Authority (OTA).
