Rukoro denies NUDO presidential aspirations

FORMER Namibia Football Association (NFA) Secretary General Barry Rukoro has poured cold water on reports that he is contemplating running for the National Unity Democratic Organisation (NUDO) presidency at the forthcoming congress.

Rukoro said he has no plans to run for the position.

This follows a widely circulated poster depicting him as a candidate for the NUDO presidency at the organisation’s next convention on April 27 in Windhoek.

Rukoro said he had no idea who developed the billboard and was startled to find himself on a poster lobbying for NUDO’s presidency.

”Although I am aware of the potential substance thereof, I did not produce it, nor was it produced with my consent,” he said.
