Empire Gym to host Mr & Miss Empire

As part of creating awareness of having a healthy nation, one of Windhoek’s leading gyms and fitness clubs, Empire Gym and Boxing Club, situated in Goreangab three-way stop in Windhoek, will be hosting its first-ever Mr. and Miss Empire pageant on 01 November 2024 at its premises.

Empire Gym and Boxing Club continues to attract lots of people who want to get their bodies in good shape. At the same time, it also teaches boxing to those who want to learn the sport.

Naftal Shimuningeni, the owner and founder of the Empire Gym and Boxing Club, said the event has no age limit and that he is looking at making it an annual event, with the first edition being a pilot project.

“The primary purpose of this event is to raise awareness and encourage people to live a healthy, fit lifestyle. The participants will be tested on various workouts whereby each contestant collects points. The person with the overall points wins. In addition, information on healthy eating and meal plans will also be offered at the event.
