Ex-diplomat robbed of N$ 2 million

POLICE in Oshikoto are pursuing a gang of three thugs who allegedly stole N$2 million from the house of a former diplomat on Monday morning. The incident happened at the home of former Namibian ambassador to China Johannes ‘Kawaalala’ Nakaambo at Omangundu village in the Onankali district of Oshikoto region.

According to Oshikoto police head of operations commissioner Petrus Shigwedha, the three men arrived at Nakaambo’s house at around 09h00 that morning shortly after Nakaambo had left the house. The three thugs allegedly arrived in a dark blue seven-seater vehicle and dressed in white Covid-19 protective suits.
