Facts strangle ‘Bishop’

THERE was high drama at Windhoek High Court this week when Independent Patriots for Change (IPC) member and northern-based teacher Abed ‘Bishop’ Hishoono who is being sued by the First Lady, Monica Geingos for defamation failed to substantiate his claims, professed ignorance at his claims and pleaded for mercy.

With his apology allegedly posted on social media having been denied by Geingos as insincere, Hishoono this week rejected most of the statements in a testimony written by his lawyers saying that claim made in the statement were new to him and he was hearing them for the first time as he was being cross examined by lawyer, Sisa Namandje who represented Geingos in the matter.
