False narratives against Confidente, an advertising war

IT is ironic that a reporter from The Namibian, masquerading as a union leader, Sakeus Iikela went on a fake news campaign to distort the working conditions of a rival newspaper, the Confidente.

It is even more baffling that the employer of this journalist reinforced his fantasies in spreading his lies on social media without verifying the facts with Confidente.

The editor of Confidente and his newsroom colleagues visited The Namibian but the publication deliberately ignored their testament of true events on the ground.

The theatrical display of a woman (one of the casual workers that absconded work at the printing press) posturing to be crying shows the desperation of our rival colleagues to tarnish the image of our publication.
