Fireworks expected at MTC OAS1SONE Skeleton Coast Festival

IN a country where music flows through the streets and resonates in every corner, a wave of excitement is building up as the countdown has begun to the most anticipated music show of the year, the MTC OAS1SONE Skeleton Music Festival.

Set for December at the mesmerising Long Beach between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay, the festival promises an immersive experience.

Several local artists from different genres and leading international artists are expected to converge in Namibia’s pristine coastlines, where the world’s oldest desert and the most beautiful exotic beaches meet up for a once-in-a-lifetime endless summer experience.

The festival results from a partnership between MTC, MTC TV+, OAS1SONE, Wild Africa Fund, and Namibian Tourism.

The festival is expected to be a world-class event highlighting Namibia’s rich musical, cultural, and magnificent places that will headline one of the most amazing shows of all, Namibia’s Amazing Wildlife.

The action, including behind-the-scenes moments and unique artist content, will be collected and repackaged for exclusive live and on-demand streaming on MTC TV+.
All MTC TV+ subscribers will receive a complimentary ticket to this once-in-a-lifetime event and a complimentary 1-month subscription to MTC TV+ to gorge on infinite material.

Speaking at the inauguration of the music festival, MTC Chief Human Capital, Corporate Affairs, and Marketing Officer Tim Ekandjo highlighted the need to work together to protect wildlife
