First Lady refutes ‘damaging’ Westair allegations

… serves IPC mobiliser with summons

FIRST Lady Monica Geingos this week confirmed that summons had been served against Abed Nego Linoovene ‘Bishop’ Hishoono – the Ohangwena mobiliser for the Independent Patriots for Change (IPC) – for spreading defamatory and false allegations pertaining to, inter alia, her involvement in Westair.

In a statement Geingos clarified that on February 17 2011, Stimulus Investments Limited, of which she was the Managing Director at the time, sold its 29 percent shareholding in Westair Maintenance (Pty) Ltd adding that this sale was covered by the Namibian media and is a matter of public knowledge and record.
