First N$40 million automobile school on cards

OMARURU will in the second month of 2023 become home to Namibia’s first ever automobile training centre which will train mechanics, panel beaters, auto-electricians and spray painters at an investment of approximately N$40 million, Erongo regional governor, Neville Andre has told Confidente.

The school which will have an initial enrolment of 300 will target young disadvantaged children in the area and later open up to the whole country when it builds hostels.

In an interview this week, Andre said that his region was looking to expand its economic activities and broaden the scope of what it can offer to national development.
