Fishcor top job to be re-advertised

…as ministry rejects front runners

THE Ministry of Public Enterprises has said that the position of chief executive officer (CEO) at Fishcor will have to be re-advertised as it was not satisfied with the front running candidates that were presented to it at the conclusion of the recruitment process.
In a statement this week, Johnathan Swartz, chief public relations officer at the ministry said that following due diligence and considering the crucial importance of filling the position with a person that presents the most preferred profile, the Ministry of Public Enterprises and the Fishcor board consulted on Friday, July 2 and concluded that none of the candidates has presented such and it will be in the best interest of the company to re-advertise the position.
