Former Gobabis CEO in N$40 million fix

…accountable for at least 10 capital projects

AN audit report by the rural and urban development ministry into the capital projects of Gobabis municipality between 2012 and 2019 has recommended that former chief executive officer, Ephraim Davids who is now the CEO of Leonardville Village, be held accountable for irregularities in at least 10 capital projects which were valued at approximately N$40 million.
Davids who served as CEO between 2012 and 2017 was also the chairperson of the local tender board prior to the enactment of the Public Procurement Act of 2015.
