Gays Demand ‘Nujoma Apology’

EXECUTIVE director of the Rights Not Rescue Trust of Namibia (RnR) Nikodemus ‘Mama Africa’ Kamangoti has said that Founding Father Sam Nujoma must apologise to the gay community for utterances he made whilst he was president.
Mama Africa said this in relation to the current debates around the legalisation of homosexuality.
She emphasised to Confidente that, the animosity towards the gay community emanated from the Nujoma’s remarks -in an old video currently widely circulating on social media- that gays would not be tolerated in Namibia.
