Geingob appeals for qualified councillors

PRESIDENT Hage Geingob has implored on the ruling party to consider qualified and patriotic cadres that possess requisite skills and qualifications to solve basic problems at the local community level.

Speaking at the Swapo Party Central Committee at the weekend, Geingob noted that some of the comrades who have been entrusted with the regional councils and local authorities “do not possess the requisite skills and qualifications to deliver on bread and butter issues in communities”.
