Geingob opens legal year

PRESIDENT Hage Geingob yesterday opened the 2021 legal year of the three pillars of state, namely the executive, legislature and judiciary.
The opening of the 2021 legal year came a day after he opened the 3rd session of the 7th Parliament on, barely a week after he also opened the first session of Cabinet for the year.

Geingob was addressing Chief Justice Peter Shivute, Deputy Chief Justice Petrus Damaseb, Minister of Justice, Yvonne Dausab, Attorney General Festus Mbandeka, judges of the Supreme Court, and the High Court, Chief Magistrate and other magistrates through a virtual proceeding.
