Hackers target Netumbo’s brother-in-law

SWAPO Party Vice President, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah’s brother- in-law Erasmus Ndaitwah has opened a criminal case against suspects aiming to de-campaign Nandi-Ndaitwah by sending malicious messages after hacking his Facebook account.
In an exclusive interview with Confidente this week, Erasmus hinted that the hackers had labeled Nandi-Netumbo stupid as well as sending pornography pictures to different ladies on his account while pretending to be him.
Meanwhile, Swapo recently introduced a raft of new regulations which states that candidates are not allowed to influence, threaten or bribe each other into withdrawing from the race for party positions.
“These people are pretending to be me and I have been badly impacted by it because they were using my cell phone number. They are sending pornography pictures on social media and bad messages to other people. Some of them were writing on my page to say stop sleeping with my wife and even my family ended up asking me about all of these things because they were being posted on my social media account.
Erasmus had to change his telephone number because of the hacking of his phone he has been using for more than 20 years.
“They know that l am related to Nandi-Ndaitwah and l will be campaigning for him, now they are trying to post very bad staff about her using my facebook account and bad mouthing her by calling her stupid and many other things.
“ I am not campaigning for her yet and all of the campaigning posts that are on my facebook account are those people doing it. They just want to tarnish my reputation and l will never say the candidates are stupid that is out of my capacity.
Erasmus furthermore elaborated that he has opened a police case in Eenhana.
“I have already opened a police case regarding this matter in Eenhana and the police are investigating the matter in order to find out who are the culprits behind this farce.
I want everybody to know that l am not the one that has been doing such kind of staff because my account was hacked and it is not me that was posting such sensitive staff.
“Those people are pretending to be me and l am very much depressed and stressed. My account was hacked by de-campaigners and l’m not the one doing all that sort of things. I just want people to stop doing that because it will end up creating problems between the politicians,” he stated.
Candidates in the race for the Swapo vice-presidency position are Minister of Environment, Forestry and Tourism, Pohamba Shifeta, Deputy Prime Minister, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, and Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila.
