Anight of worship is upon all Christians, as organisers promised that the first annual Heal Our Land concert scheduled for Saturday 3 August at the Zoo Park Amphitheatre is going to an unforgettable night of performance and worship.

The event is set to feature well-known gospel singers in the local and international circuits and the organisers have said that the preparations are right on track and that the international artists performing in the concert will have arrived by Friday morning.

“The expectations are overwhelming and people are on for real support, with a majority that already bought their tickets to the much-anticipated event,” says Joseph Gabriel, who is one of the festival directors.

The event will feature Manda Gabriel, a local gospel singer who will be headlining the concert, together with Zaza Mokheti and Dumi Mkokstad, award-winning musicians from South Africa.

Other artists to perform during the much-anticipated concert include D-Naff, Abner Mumbala, Sovita Joshua, Pride Vuuyo Johnson, Jux Adolf, Esme, Dee A and Franklin.

“The Heal our Land concert is an initiative to bring Namibians together to educate and remind them about the love of God that is able to help the country to conquer all troubles, anxiety, and fears,” Joseph Gabriel said.

As one of the headliners of the concert, Manda Gabriel said she was born ready to worship God and is more than ready to show her talent. “I’m excited, because it has been an event that I have been waiting for so long, and I’m looking forward to not only worship but also most importantly to stand in the gap to cry unto God to heal our land so that we may see change in our nation,” says Manda Gabriel.

Gates open at 16h00 and general tickets cost N$100, while VIP tickets will go for N$250 via Computicket.
