Helao Nafidi mayor implores residents to attend expo

Helao Nafidi Mayor Darius Shaalukeni has invited residents, business owners, and the nation to join the town’s trade fair, which will take place from October 20 to November 4.

In an interview with Confidente, Shaalukeni said trade fairs are perfect platforms for businesses to display their products and services, share ideas, and network.

“Our trade fair will be held from October 20 to November 4. It will be an incredible event, and we invite inhabitants of our town, the business community, and people from all across the country to attend,” he said.

According to Shaalukeni, around 127 exhibitors will participate, six coming from neighbouring Angola, Botswana, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Tanzania.

“Most exhibitors are from our town and other towns across the country. There will also be many activities, and I want to encourage everyone in our community to attend,” he said.

Shaalukeni pointed out that the Helao Nafidi town council intentionally chose to hold the trade fair at this time of the year and for 16 days to accommodate everyone.

“Previously, we only had a few days, but as you can see, the trade fair has grown and attracts many exhibitors. The reason is to accommodate everyone,” he explained, adding that security at the exhibition will be tight, with private security officers on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Shaalukeni highlighted that Industry Minister Lucia Ipumbu will officially open the 16th edition of the Helao Nafidi trade fair on October 27.
