Hollard, Gondwana fight draws in AG, Cabinet

THE ongoing battle between Gondwana Collection Namibia and Hollard Insurance Company involving a dispute over an insurance claim has spilt into the offices of the Attorney General and the secretary to Cabinet.
Gondwana is accusing Hollard of deliberately delaying the business interruption claim settlement of the company following its cessation of activity due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Gondwana and Hollard recently subpoenaed the AG Festus Mbandeka and George Simataa to provide Cabinet minutes and documents they say are vital to the case, as well as for the two to appear and testify in court regarding the ongoing dispute.
