South African women’s football club, Msasa FC Ladies, has accused Namibian club FC Ongos Ladies of unethical behaviour, alleging the non-payment of transfer fees for Mbali Yalo. Yalo was deported from Namibia last year due to overstaying her visa.
Yalo’s signing in August was intended to bolster FC Ongos Ladies’ performance in the CAF Women’s Champions League and the FNB Women Super League. However, her deportation by immigration officials, due to a lack of a work permit, disrupted these plans.

Renovation work on the Kuisebmund stadium, home of premier league giants Blue Waters, will be completed in April, the Walvis Bay Municipality’s acting manager for public relations and customer service, Anita Kaihiva has  The renovations, which will cost the Walvis Bay municipality N$3 million started in November last year and will be undertaken by contractor Element Consulting Engineers.
According to Kaihiva, the renovations are an investment into the community.

PAUHL Shakes Mallembu was linked with the vacant Rundu-based club Cuca Tops FC’st top coaching job , following the resignation of former coach Gundolf Mukoya, who resigned from his post early January.
Mukoya was the mastermind behind the team’s promotion to this season’s Debmarine Premiership after helping Cuca Tops win the North East First Division title and was in charge of the team’s first seven matches before the club’s assistant coach Jean-Claude Kalinda took over the reign.

US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order that prevents transgender women from competing in female categories of sports.
The order provides guidance, regulations and legal interpretations, and it will enlist the Department of Education to investigate high schools thought to be non-compliant.
Republicans say it restores fairness to sports but LGBT advocacy and human rights organisations have described the move as discriminatory.
The order, which goes into effect immediately, largely covers high school, universities and grassroots sports.
