IPC raises N$250 000 for Hishoono conviction

THE Independent Patriots for Change (IPC) together with other opposition political parties have joined hands to assist Abed ‘Bishop’ Hishoono with his court case, where he was being sued for defaming the First Lady, Monica Geingos. 

Last week Hishoono who is the IPC regional coordinator for Ohangwena, was convicted on defamation and ordered to pay N$250 000 and to apologise to the complainant. After judgement was delivered last Friday, Hishoono publicly apologised to the First Lady for his actions; and as of the weekend his political party was mobilising funds for him.
