JSB soccer tournament to hit Windhoek

THE second edition of the JSB Sports betting Open Kasi Soccer tournament is scheduled to take place on 24 September 24-25 at the Namibia Football Association (NFA) technical training centre and at the Khomasdal Stadium in Windhoek.

The winning team will walk away with the floating trophy, winners medals plus prize money amounting to N$15 000, second place team will receive runner-up medals plus N$7 000 in prize money and third place team will collect bronze medals and prize monies worth N$4 000.

Tournament founding member, Herman ‘Lawal’ //Naobeb, who is also the owner of Swallows Football Club that is organising the tournament, said the aim of the tournament is to bring football closer to the people.

“The tournament keeps on growing each year. As Swallows Football Club we asked JSB sports betting to help us host the tournament for our brothers in our community. As you are very much aware, before players start playing in the Premier League they start by playing in such tournaments and this is why we want to have such tournaments. The gate fee is N$10 per person. Registration fees per team are N$2000.

The teams that have so far confirmed their participation in the tournament are The Birds,Swallows,Africa United , MPHS ( MPSH ), Namib Eagles, Okauua Rovers , Diamond United, ACFA, Windhoek City, Celtic , Uptown F.C , Tuk Tuk, Swallows D33, Outjo Football Academy, Khâibasen, Google,All Stars, Tura Stars, Dolam Pirates,V-power,WHK International ,City Boyz,Classics,Jetas,Seven 11,Destiny,City legends,Kenge & Friends,Eleven fc,Ipumbi Shimii,Super stars,Lion’s,Wakaduku,Young Stars,East Gate,Charlton Forest and Reflector F. C.
