Kazapua disappointed by failed Pirates move
By Michael Uugwanga
BRAVE Warriors’ number one and Chippa United’s backup stopper, Lloyd Kazapua, has opened up about his failed dream move to DSTV Premiership club Orlando Pirates last season.
Kazapua was on the verge of joining the Soweto giants last season, but the move fell due to a lack of agreement on a transfer fee.
After a superb performance for the Brave Warriors against Tunisia and Mali, there were reports that Kazapua could be in the market for another move.
Still, now that the transfer window has closed, he is set to continue at Chippa United until the end of the season to see if Pirates or another club will be interested in his services.
Kazapua, who helped the Brave Warriors to their first-ever round of 16 stage appearance at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), told Confidente that he was sad not to join Pirates.
