Khomas leads in missing persons

AT least 41 persons were reported missing between January 1 and February 15 2021, according to the latest Namibian Police (NamPol) statistics on missing persons.

Out of the reported missing persons, 31 are still missing, seven were located and reunited with their families while three people were found dead.

Khomas region had the highest number of 26 missing persons.

The Oshikoto and Oshana regions each recorded three cases, followed by Erongo and Kavango-West regions each having recorded two cases of missing persons, with Ohangwena, Omaheke, Kunene and Otjozondjupa regions recording one case each.
