King of Squats in Windhoek soon

Windhoek is about to feel the burn in the best way possible as the renowned South African fitness sensation, the ‘King of Squats’, prepares to invade Namibian for a one-day fitness takeover.
Scheduled for June 7, 2025 at Eros Sports Field, the event promises to unite fitness lovers under one goal, ‘squat and sweat together’.
The King of Squats has become a household name in the fitness world, with a physique and presence that perfectly matches his energetic social media persona. He is also known for his signature glute-focused routines and viral fitness content.
“The King of Squats is a well-known South African aerobics instructor. Though there was not a formal decision to bring him to Namibia, his style and impact on the fitness community made it a natural choice. He brings both coaching and motivation to the space, according Salmi Enkali, the event organizer.
The event will feature a high-energy programme filled with aerobics sessions, challenges, and group workouts. “Guests can anticipate a variety of fitness activities and challenges. Additionally, they will enjoy a motivating environment with other attendees,” Enkali said.
Namibian fitness will also take centre stage with Atlas Musasa, a local fitness instructor, joining the lineup. This inclusion highlights the event’s aim to blend interna- tional flair with homegrown talent.
Enkali explained that the response from the public has been nothing short of ‘overwhelming’. The organizer expect between 500 to 800 people to attend, a testament to the growing appetite for wellness events in Namibia.
But this is not just a workout as the event is part of a broader mission to promote health and wellness in the country. “The event aims at empowering Namibians to prioritize their health by fostering a culture of healthy choices.
We hope it will raise awareness about the benefits of physical activities and encourage individuals to engage in routines that promote an overall well-being.”
The event is supported by Bonaqua and marks the beginning of what the organizer hopes will be a long-term commitment to community wellness. “We encourage the community to follow our social media platforms for updates on future events.”
